Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Cambaratiba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Stanislaw Lichucki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's Marin Giubelean sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cambaratiba's Diguinho Vaz got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tomas Illescas, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Giubelean in the 16th minute of play. Stanislaw Lichucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Giubelean in the 24th minute. Marin Giubelean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Marin Giubelean slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Marin Giubelean blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 37th minute, Yuri Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Moise Stoicu rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislaw Lichucki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Joshua Secada made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Patricio Costa. In the 67th minute Marin Giubelean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Marin Giubelean took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 87 minutes of play, Cambaratiba's Moise Stoicu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cambaratiba made a substitution. Marcus Aparecido replaced Marin Giubelean. Guillermo Mariano made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomas Illescas immediately put the ball in play. Cambaratiba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
