Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Aparecido took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Giubelean in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Giubelean in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Marin Giubelean hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moise Stoicu was slow to take the kick. During this time Cambaratiba's players had a chance to rest. Moise Stoicu made a great header on Cambaratiba's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislaw Lichucki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Aparecido got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Giubelean in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Marcus Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cambaratiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Aparecido couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Marcus Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanislaw Lichucki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Lichucki having to interfere. Cambaratiba's Rogério Munhoz was substituted for Marcus Aparecido. In the 75th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Cambaratiba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 79 played minutes Cambaratiba got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Munhoz. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Stanislaw Lichucki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 88thth minute of the game Rogério Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Augustin Hauerholt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cambaratiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Cambaratiba getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Augustin Hauerholt hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanislaw Lichucki narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
