Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dylan Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dylan Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo do Nascimento in the 8th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 郝誉雄 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 played minutes JIANGSU FC got a freekick which was hit by 傅霆洲. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Secada in the 17th minute of play forced JIANGSU FC's goalkeeper 郝誉雄 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of JIANGSU FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 35th minute of the match Rigoberto Mina completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo do Nascimento got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo do Nascimento's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo do Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Dylan Schneider tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dylan Schneider stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Schneider came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by 傅霆洲 with Raimundo do Nascimento as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 何笑震 went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. JIANGSU FC's 袁笑政 got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dylan Schneider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by JIANGSU FC's Raimundo do Nascimento. But to his dismay, Raimundo do Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, JIANGSU FC's Raimundo do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When 傅霆洲 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, 傅霆洲 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JIANGSU FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
