Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of play. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Vassilis Nentakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Simão Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Frits van Gaal in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ştefan Magheran went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When S.E.
