Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cris Courtois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robin Steckamp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Wambalamba FC's Juarês Donato made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Colombia booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Carlos Vianna in the 36th minute. Cris Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cris Courtois. Wambalamba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. Axel Montenegro got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-3 in the right cross in the 54th match minute before Cris Courtois had time to react. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wambalamba FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cris Courtois was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Osvaldo Meireles hit a great ball. With a little luck, Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois got control of the ball when Kevin Mastache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's attentive Abram Secada managed to snatch the ball when Robin Steckamp made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Carballar got free with Cris Courtois in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juarês Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Mastache got free with Cris Courtois in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cris Courtois. Ignacio Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Abram Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Secada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cris Courtois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mastache in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cris Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 minutes, Ignacio Mastache made it 3-6 with a short kick to the right side. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
