Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro. Jairo Primeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Primeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Laurendi in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play forced DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Jairo Primeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the DON RAMON 72 defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Primeiro. The DON RAMON 72 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Primeiro should have stopped the shot. Jairo Primeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Primeiro having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Primeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jairo Primeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Tohias. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Cayetano Estevez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Lalla in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Jairo Primeiro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Lautaro Mancebo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro did a great save. 78 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Jairo Primeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Akira Taffarel fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DON RAMON 72's protests and gave Akira Taffarel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, DON RAMON 72 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akira Taffarel to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jairo Primeiro made a huge save. DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save DON RAMON 72 from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. DON RAMON 72's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The DON RAMON 72 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
