The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Nilton Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frank Tavares in the 21 minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilton Mineiro. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Felix Dorval got a free kick in the 27th minute. Saint Jean Pierre hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Tiki Tiki Uberaba's Leonardo Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Mineiro came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aníbal Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Tiki Tiki Uberaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Brasil couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiki Tiki Uberaba's Nilton Mineiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Noel Seide. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. Christian de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aníbal Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Nilton Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Frank Tavares threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Raymond Louis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Tiki Tiki Uberaba getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aníbal Brasil hit a great ball. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frank Tavares in the 67 minute of the game. Ernso Constant kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilton Mineiro went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Christian de Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiki Tiki Uberaba's protests and gave Christian de Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Christian de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Aníbal Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Mineiro in the 83rd minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Mineiro came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Mineiro in the 93rd minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tiki Tiki Uberaba had won after a very even match.
