The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Valer Jurca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Compugraf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Valer Jurca kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duda Veiga saved Compugraf from getting behind. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xantalen Titos took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Xantalen Titos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xantalen Titos in the 18th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Compugraf were awarded a corner. He Nan Lei went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Compugraf's Duda Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Compugraf's goalkeeper Duda Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Compugraf booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xantalen Titos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Compugraf's Xantalen Titos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play forced Compugraf's goalkeeper Duda Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He Nan Lei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He Nan Lei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Wang Zhen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Compugraf's Guto Campidelis was substituted for Valer Jurca. Compugraf's Chico Freire was substituted for Xantalen Titos. Compugraf's Ciro Amaral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Andino in the 65 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Freire in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. He Nan Lei made a great header on Compugraf's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Veiga having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Chico Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes, Chico Freire made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Compugraf made a substitution. Walter Tufan replaced Ulysses Fernandes. Compugraf's Chico Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Compugraf had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
