After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Chucky Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Clovis Hudry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigio Behe. Remigio Behe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Chucky Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chucky Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Behe. The crowd rose to their feet as TRIDΣNT's Chucky Gol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 3-3 after 29 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TRIDΣNT's goalkeeper Remigio Behe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Chucky Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRIDΣNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Chucky Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 3-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Salomon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, George Russell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Salomon in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteban Salomon got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julio Vera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. TRIDΣNT made a substitution. Romulo Veto replaced Americo Uzuri. After 79 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogelio Liher who took care of the corner kick. TRIDΣNT's Romulo Veto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute of the match TRIDΣNT got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Liher ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rogelio Liher got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 83 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Remigio Behe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Medero during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hilario Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Remigio Behe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
