Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žigmund Csontos in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFK Petržalka's zone, Bello Cura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Štefan Semeno came out of the goal and Bello Cura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Ospetsu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Ospetsu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Balázs Borbély had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pekka Rollins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Bello Cura came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Zedník came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Žigmund Csontos in the 22nd minute of the match. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Žigmund Csontos came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Bello Cura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Štefan Semeno. AFK Petržalka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bello Cura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Žigmund Csontos in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Ben-Ami Ranchin came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Tomáš Požgaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Richard Zedník notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio. Isidoro Rio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Štefan Semeno managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Argentinean Patriots 1816's Pekka Rollins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bello Cura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bello Cura took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Štefan Semeno. Štefan Semeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Richard Zedník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as AFK Petržalka's Richard Zedník slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidoro Rio. That made the score 2-2 after 60 minutes of play. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pekka Rollins in the 65th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bello Cura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Štefan Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Štefan Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pekka Rollins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Štefan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Nouveau in the 78th minute of play. Isidoro Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Požgaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Štefan Semeno came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentinean Patriots 1816's Pekka Rollins. But to his dismay, Pekka Rollins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 87th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Argentinean Patriots 1816 fully deserved thier win.
