Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moisés Marquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moisés Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Neiva in the 6th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walmir Neiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Denílson de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 12th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Neiva in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 25th minute of play forced Predador's goalkeeper Denílson de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Waldemar Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Waldemar Cardozo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Waldemar Cardozo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 34 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Moisés Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Moisés Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Predador's Christovao Reyna got a free kick in the 37th minute. Denílson de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Moisés Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmir Neiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denílson de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Predador's goalkeeper Denílson de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. Waldemar Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Tomas Berganza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Denílson de Andrade 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 59th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Marquez in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. 70 minutes into the match, Predador's Walmir Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moisés Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. With a little luck, Predador's Denílson de Andrade got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Neiva in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Walmir Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Cardozo scored 3-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Predador's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denílson de Andrade came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Predador were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
