After 31 minutes of play, Platingucu SK's Baran Bilge Ergunalp made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Platingucu SK's Pagomari Garrote got a free kick in the 41st minute. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zikri Erincer. Platingucu SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Platingucu SK booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Platingucu SK's Bekir Dağhan got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Jose Carita made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isidoro Sarmiento however managed to control. Platingucu SK's Zikri Erincer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zikri Erincer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Platingucu SK's Zikri Erincer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Platingucu SK from getting a goal against them. Zikri Erincer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Carita charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Carita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 79th minute of play forced Platingucu SK's goalkeeper Zikri Erincer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Bilge Ergunalp in the 82nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bekir Dağhan who took care of the corner kick. In the 84th minute Denizhan Yahya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Dionisio Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platingucu SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zikri Erincer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 91st minute. Panama were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
