Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Trevisan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Dr Lecter SC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Batista. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Trevisan saved Dr Lecter SC from getting behind. Celso Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omid Kaulbach in the 23rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Omid Kaulbach fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dr Lecter SC's protests and gave Omid Kaulbach a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Omid Kaulbach got a free kick in the 25th minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Trevisan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Dr Lecter SC's attentive Tihomir Donevski managed to snatch the ball when Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 42nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Trevisan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Dr Lecter SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Julian Murillo to score against Celso Trevisan in Dr Lecter SC's goal. 0-2 after 55 minutes. Dr Lecter SC's Laércio Guedes was substituted for Lauro Antunes. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Celso Trevisan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 71st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Trevisan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Celso Trevisan. Dr Lecter SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Dridu came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Celso Trevisan in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Celso Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dr Lecter SC throughout the match.
