Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Alco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Delmiro Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Filipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Noboa's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, Alco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Stabbe to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Alco FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Kolberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Delmiro Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Alco FC's attentive Joakim Forssberg managed to snatch the ball when Lautaro Puig made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Kolberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Tasis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delmiro Filipo. Alco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Delmiro Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Oskar Kolberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. In the 37th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Rudkvist scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Kolberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Alco FC's Delmiro Filipo got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmiro Filipo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 55th minute. After 58 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Klas Nordstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klas Nordstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmiro Filipo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Delmiro Filipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Rudkvist in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Kolberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Delmiro Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Filipo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, Alco FC's Tommy Rudkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Costa Rica for a fine match.
