Iker Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Iker Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Maciej Karwowski sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Medina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Bennvar Björnfot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Medina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Silverio Medardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The TALLERES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. TALLERES's Iker Medina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Iker Medina in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iker Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 60th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Iker Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, TALLERES's Iker Medina got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TALLERES's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TALLERES's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. With a little luck, TALLERES's Iker Medina got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bennvar Björnfot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Medardo in the 91st minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
