Doğan Sabeddin took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play forced THE LEGEND COME BACK's goalkeeper Habib Kutuner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when THE LEGEND COME BACK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zülfü Kabakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Berkant Sudi made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
