Carlos Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Ramos. Carlos Ramos made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Geovani Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ramos having to interfere. Carlos Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Carlos Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Arce during the 74th minute. When Daniel Zorita, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Carlos Ramos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 88th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by JEC - FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
