Marco Tamayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sords Team defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Miranda. The Sords Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Miranda should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Rafael Raposo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Rafael Raposo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Noel Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Augusto Seixas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rafael Raposo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Sords Team got a freekick which was hit by Noel Peixoto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Carvallo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Peixoto to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sords Team getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Noel Peixoto hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Peixoto in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Raposo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sords Team's Augusto Seixas got a free kick in the 84th minute. El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sords Team. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Silva in the 87th minute of the match. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Sords Team's Rafael Raposo tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sords Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
