Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Arotza. Arroyo Dulce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Noboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Aaron Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Aaron Odilon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-1 in the 20 minute of play. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Arroyo Dulce booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Arroyo Dulce getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cristobal Medero hit a great ball. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Arroyo Dulce's Antonio Lidon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 31 played minutes Arroyo Dulce got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Maureo. When Cristobal Medero came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Arroyo Dulce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Medero couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 36th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Lidon went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Aaron Odilon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Antonio Lidon scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Odilon to make the kick off. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Aaron Odilon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 66 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Arroyo Dulce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Medero came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Arroyo Dulce's Antonio Lidon got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Arroyo Dulce's Aaron Odilon. But to his dismay, Aaron Odilon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After 96 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Arroyo Dulce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arroyo Dulce fully deserved thier win.
