Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adan Otsoko started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Almeyra F.C.'s zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Colas came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cristo Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Sabino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Colas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Locaio in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 26th minute. Samuel Muno kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristo Colas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Cristo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Colas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Otsoko came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristo Colas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Cristo Colas threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Zorita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paolo Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Almeyra F.C. from getting a goal against them. Cristo Colas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Zorita in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Colas saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Saverio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Cadaval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Almeyra F.C. made a substitution. Fulgencio Natal replaced Adan Otsoko. Almeyra F.C.'s Cayetano Sarracino was substituted for Saverio Locaio. Joel Gaona made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Almeyra F.C.'s Francisco Perico. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Cayetano Sarracino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 86 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristo Colas, 1-1. After 88 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Xabat. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cristo Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 92nd minute of play. Celedonio Xabat struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almeyra F.C.. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
