Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Waldir Urbano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Waldir Urbano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play. Silverio Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Silverio Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Waldir Urbano made the kick off in the second half. Severi Nybacka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 53 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Silverio Corderun in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Urbano's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pinto Valer's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pinto Valer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chile booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinto Valer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tasso FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
