Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Turgut Talha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Vacid Nefer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turgut Talha saved Club Deportivo Español from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Vacid Nefer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of play. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turgut Talha. Turgut Talha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Vacid Nefer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Vacid Nefer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Talha having to interfere. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 42nd minute of play. Flavio Botello's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Botello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Botello to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Talha having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turgut Talha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Español's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turgut Talha came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Turgut Talha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 84th minute Club Deportivo Español were awarded a corner. Joaquin Hug went to the cornerflag to take it. Club Deportivo Español's Joaquin Hug was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Turgut Talha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rafael Gallo. Turgut Talha came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Rafael Gallo. But to his dismay, Rafael Gallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Club Deportivo Español's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antonio Tenorio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 95th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Turgut Talha. Club Deportivo Español's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
