Honduras were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. Sebastian Villa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 15 minutes into the game, Manuel Santo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Manuel Santo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Laureano Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
52 minutes into the game, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Florencio Chico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Laureano Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Aires hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Laureano Etxeberri threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Laureano Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Justo Ferrer fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's protests and gave Justo Ferrer a yellow card for diving instead.
