Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gildo Furtado saved America FC from getting behind. America FC's Maicon Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Arruda in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Maicon Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Yuri Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Lopez in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when America FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye America FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Dracena in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. America FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gildo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 40th minute of play. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gildo Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Maicon Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Gildo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maicon Arruda to make the kick off. Rigoberto Mina lost his temper 51 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 51st minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for America FC. Jonas Dracena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Dracena in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Yuri Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Yuri Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a America FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilmar Maranhense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Yuri Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when America FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Lopez succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. America FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
