King Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Corderall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jacksonville 67's King Batistuta got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John-Graham Lake was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Baradero's goal looked a bit too open when King Batistuta came free, but Augusto Corderall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Baradero's goalkeeper Augusto Corderall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by King Batistuta. Augusto Corderall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Horring, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Jacksonville 67's King Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Jacksonville 67's King Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When King Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Jacksonville 67 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that King Batistuta couldn't finish the play.
