Alexander Tehas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to TUNGSTA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Moreta Villarruel hit a great ball. TUNGSTA's Eugenio Romillo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TUNGSTA's Alexander Tehas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Tehas having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, TUNGSTA's Hernan Portocarrero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Tehas having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Romillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Romillo in the 38th minute of play. Xefe Pedraja hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Alexander Tehas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Romillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alexander Tehas made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Marco Roson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TUNGSTA's Marin Salamanca was substituted for Moreta Villarruel. Marco Roson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes TUNGSTA got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Portocarrero. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Alexander Tehas made a huge save. After a rather tough play, TUNGSTA's Hernan Portocarrero got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Tehas. Alexander Tehas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Marin Salamanca kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TUNGSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaviedes Astulez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander Tehas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ecuador played a much better game than TUNGSTA and deserved their victory. The TUNGSTA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
