A nice corner shot did that Alex Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Cotilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd match minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Toledo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Elder Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. 30 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elder Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34thth minute of the game Edvaldo Zonta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvaldo Zonta's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. A collision led to SUPERSTAR - DMZ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alex Toledo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Romeu de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 45 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alex Toledo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Alex Toledo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Elder Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute of the match Alex Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Alex Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elder Cardoso was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89thth minute of the game Isidoro Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Elder Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Elder Cardoso made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Panama players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
