Gavino Rami got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 5th match minute before Jonathan Ferrant had time to react. 7 minutes in the game, Jan Sierocki fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Ruperto Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute of the match, Jan Sierocki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Jan Sierocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jan Sierocki sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Sierocki in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jan Sierocki from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Best Jesus sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Sierocki in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jan Sierocki did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 32 minutes into the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Club Atlético Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Salvadore to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Jan Sierocki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Ruperto Salvadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes in the game, Patricio Costa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jimeno Nevada having to interfere. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's Gavino Rami sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Rami in the 64th minute of the match. Ruperto Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Magallanes the free kick. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Best Jesus made a great header on Club Atlético Magallanes's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Taci Argün came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taci Argün in the 80th managed to get into a good position.
