Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Freddy Amato kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Plaza Jewell's Armando Azibar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Cresconio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Pablo Mei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 14th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Mei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Zabal Ubeda came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Cresconio in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Plaza Jewell's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Mei came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Azibar hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Jewell from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Fabio Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Luis Andino suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lorenzo Mancio hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Amato came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Pablo Mei in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Freddy Amato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Freddy Amato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Plaza Jewell booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Diego Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pablo Mei made a huge save. Aristides Iratxo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaza Jewell.
