Ronaldo Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The corner led São Francisco FC86's Nicolas Lencastre to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ricardo Madeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Francisco FC86. Mauro Castilho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 89th minute of the match. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. The São Francisco FC86 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
