Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Aimar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Luca Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Benvido having to make a save. Diguinho Paraíba's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Canalla Fuego got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Paraíba. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Benvido having to interfere. Clemente Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Canalla Fuego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aimar in the 32nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Benvido was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Canalla Fuego's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Benvido came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Clemente Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Benvido having to make a save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Kalischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canalla Fuego's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Joel Gaona scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Benvido, making the score, 0-4. 67 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido. Clemente Benvido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Benvido made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Benvido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clemente Benvido saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Clemente Benvido however easily saved by the left post. In the 87thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aimar in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aimar in the 97th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico played a much better game than Canalla Fuego and deserved their victory. The Canalla Fuego players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
