Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataulfo Diosdado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ataulfo Diosdado came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Gol in the 20th minute of play. When Giga Mønster came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giga Mønster couldn't finish the play. With his leg Hector Casse managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Strömsbro IF's Giga Mønster fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Giga Mønster kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Casse. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Säfvahöjden's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Bredberg in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbro IF's zone, Ataulfo Diosdado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Albohm came out of the goal and Ataulfo Diosdado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Strömsbro IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerry Aronsson in the 39th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Ataulfo Diosdado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Ataulfo Diosdado put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ivar Albohm. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Bredberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Hector Casse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Strömsbro IF's Börge Kristiansson was substituted for Giga Mønster. Strömsbro IF's Isak Wenerdahl was substituted for André Enström. Säfvahöjden's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 70th minute of play. Michael Bredberg's late challenge caught a Säfvahöjden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Bredberg helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Michael Bredberg was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Michael Bredberg got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm got control of the ball when Best Bro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 80th minute of play. Jonatan Gabrielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Best Bro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ivar Albohm made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Säfvahöjden's Georg Termander got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Isak Wenerdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Casse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Strömsbro IF could leave the field as winners, despite Säfvahöjden having more of the ball for most of the match.
