Abram Elano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bret Caudill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Julio Erauso's late challenge caught a S.D. Bajen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Erauso helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Abram Elano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bret Caudill came out of the goal and Abram Elano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brent Cowan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Carlos Tino made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Loco got free with Bret Caudill in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Murillo. Abraham Boyer made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Brent Cowan however managed to control. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Perry Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's protests and gave Perry Barrios a yellow card for diving instead.
