The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armin Trabucco hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Rickard Lundgren notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill. Bret Caudill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rickard Lundgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bret Caudill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Guo Ke Peng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingpins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guo Ke Peng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Lundgren got free with Bret Caudill in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Queiroz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Kirby during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tony Kirby hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Rickard Lundgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bret Caudill. Rickard Lundgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Rickard Lundgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bret Caudill, 5-0. After 44 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Chris Lindstrøm. 46 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Lundgren.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rickard Lundgren made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Rickard Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bret Caudill was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Guo Ke Peng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bret Caudill was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Rickard Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bret Caudill. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bret Caudill should have stopped the shot. Bret Caudill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guo Ke Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81stth minute of the game Rickard Lundgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. S.D. Bajen's Abraham Boyer was substituted for Adrian Murillo. Kingpins's Bo Kruuse was substituted for Rickard Lundgren. Kingpins's Roger Västerstrand was substituted for Guo Ke Peng. Brendan Leblanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Bravo in the 89th minute of play. Bo Kruuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Kruuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kingpins booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Callahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Kingpins's Bo Kruuse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bret Caudill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kingpins's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
