Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Harry Deckberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Federico Reyes came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Deckberg in the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Majadita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Federico Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. After 36 minutes Majadita FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Majadita FC's Federico Reyes managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Pablo Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Deckberg in the 41st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Deckberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Federico Reyes made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Melquiades Ihazintu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Melquiades Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Harry Deckberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Deckberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Enrique Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
