Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Clóvis Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Maurício Miranda hit a great ball. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Camargo in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bezerros EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kléber Paiva in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that Kléber Paiva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Camargo got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Bezerros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. Donato Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fernando Peixoto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 34th minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 36th minute of the match Maurício Miranda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maurício Miranda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 37 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Miranda. Luiz Fernando Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Clóvis Camargo hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Arantes. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luiz Fernando Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho do Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Bezerros EC from getting a goal against them. Claudinho do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Luiz Fernando Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Arantes in the 76th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Alex Arantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute. Bezerros EC's Kléber Paiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Bezerros EC's Alex Arantes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
