Aquiles Leonidas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Leonidas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flamengo FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gui Souza in the 54th minute. Flamengo FSCMZ's attentive Dênis Loureiro managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Şensoy Peyam, made in the 58th minute of the game. Silas Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Flamengo FSCMZ's attentive Giuseppe Leão managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Aquiles Leonidas sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Aquiles Leonidas took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FSCMZ's Aquiles Leonidas. But to his dismay, Aquiles Leonidas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Aquiles Leonidas scored 7-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Leonidas went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 87th minute of play.
