Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernard Kufner having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Jadranko Šrenger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in NK BRONZIN's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Kufner came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after NK BRONZIN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that NK BRONZIN's Bernard Kufner managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 88th minute, Jure Pantić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jure Pantić in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The NK BRONZIN fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when NK BRONZIN's Jure Pantić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
