Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, André Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fala Sério FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Afonsinho Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of the match. Fala Sério FC's Afonsinho Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Reynaldo Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Fala Sério FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Afonsinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Kauan Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Afonsinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Vito de Salles got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauan Santos. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Reynaldo Martins got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 57 minutes, André Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fala Sério FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fala Sério FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Moraes in the 61st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper Afonsinho Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when André Azevedo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes Fala Sério FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute André Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonsinho Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Pernambucano in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Vito de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonsinho Marques. Afonsinho Marques yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.
