Javier Abin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of the match. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Díaz Principe in the 22nd minute of play. Javier Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Cassius Byrne put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Javier Abin. In the 37th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Díaz Principe in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, ...Pingue S.C....'s Javier Abin got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Díaz Principe came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the USA defense, Díaz Principe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. ...Pingue S.C.... made a substitution. Mercado Ibio replaced Tiaguinho Gavilanes. ...Pingue S.C....'s Alessandro Gavilanes was substituted for Santiago Gavilanes. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ...Pingue S.C.... fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. ...Pingue S.C....'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Pardaves in the 90th minute. Sam Campbell might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Abin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sam Campbell ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Yurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. USA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ...Pingue S.C.... to leave the ground with a draw.
