The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yao Xiang Xi might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yao Xiang Xi ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes in the game, Santiago Bernabéu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Bernabéu in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Santiago Bernabéu sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Per Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 78th minute of the match. Robert Antoniu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute of the match Felix Itoafă shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joakim Olsson took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Felix Itoafă made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robert Antoniu. In the 92nd minute Joakim Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pascual Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Itoafă in the 94 minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Olsson came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
