Steffen Krummwiede hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Roman Vachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Son Banana came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Day could save by the left post. It was a well-played corner which Diego Cocca managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner ended in Qiu Lin Yi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. The supporters of Manfredi AFC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Vachon was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game.
