Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Fernan Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Fernan Herauso sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Fernan Herauso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zein Tutupoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 22 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zein Tutupoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gaviotas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 28 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zein Tutupoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gaviotas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Zein Tutupoli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zein Tutupoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaviotas FC's Fernan Herauso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-2 after 41 minutes of play. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernan Herauso. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Zein Tutupoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Fernan Herauso made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zein Tutupoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Herauso in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Nardo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ivan Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Zein Tutupoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Ermegildo Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zein Tutupoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ariel Henry hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Fernan Herauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zein Tutupoli having to make a save. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
