Loja S.C.'s Luis-Antonio Barraza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valeriu Uduleanu in the 5 minute of the game. The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Uduleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lisandro Gipils managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loja S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Gipils was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Bebeșel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Loja S.C.'s Felix Pascua got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Ares got free with Ismael Rossell in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Cristi Găină hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavian Bebeșel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Pascua in the 17th minute of play. Felix Pascua took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Bebeșel. Octavian Bebeșel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell got control of the ball when Cezar Mârzac tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Ianculescu came free, but Ismael Rossell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd play minute Eusebiu Ianculescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ismael Rossell. 2-1. Ismael Rossell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Rossell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezar Mârzac. Felix Pascua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Octavian Bebeșel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Eusebiu Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Rossell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Rossell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jack Ares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 35 minute of play. In the 39th minute Victor Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Bebeșel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Bebeșel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Pascua, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ismael Rossell made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jack Ares sent off a good shot on target. After 45 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Yañez. With a little luck, Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell got control of the ball when Jack Ares tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Ares to strike the kick off in the second half. Loja S.C.'s Alexandro Antoniano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristi Găină, made in the 76th minute of the game. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emil Olteanu hit a great ball. Octavian Bebeșel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Pascua in the 79th minute of play. Luis-Antonio Barraza's late challenge caught a Granicerul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis-Antonio Barraza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Granicerul booed when Loja S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Antonio Barraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Eusebiu Ianculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Granicerul fully deserved thier win.
