In the 27th minute, Erivaldo Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of TZILACATZIN booed when MDS Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Artur Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Lukasz Gmoch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MDS Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TZILACATZIN the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homero Thomson to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Cabrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Cabrera ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 66th minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Artur Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, TZILACATZIN's Victoriano Distiratsu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Davi Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Cabrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Artur Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Artur Romero came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera. But to his dismay, Daniel Cabrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, José Maria Mineiro took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Edinho Lira to make any attempt to save it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TZILACATZIN fully deserved thier win.
