Gaston Gar's late challenge caught a de belletrekkers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Gar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde got control of the ball when Eulalio Bilintx tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Gallos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
