When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eustaquio Jaizki put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cobus Hemmen. Serge de Boer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Germano came out and tried to block the shot, but Serge de Boer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. Serge de Boer charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serge de Boer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge de Boer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ted van der Schaaf hit a great ball. Ted van der Schaaf hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Cobus Hemmen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Jaizki to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goalkeeper Cobus Hemmen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Jaizki. When Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge de Boer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes of play, Lemel SV's Serge de Boer made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Club Atlético Atlanta's Anacleto Admon in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lemel SV's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacques Brinke during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lemel SV's Cobus Hemmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. Cobus Hemmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 78th minute of play. Teun Schoenmakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted van der Schaaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Sterenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Lemel SV's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Teun Schoenmakers got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-2. 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Jaizki notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Lemel SV's Cobus Hemmen. Cobus Hemmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teun Schoenmakers might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Germano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teun Schoenmakers ran back to his position shaking his head.

Lemel SV's Serge de Boer pulled a muscle in his back after 98 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 99 minutes into the game, Rosendo Cutberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lemel SV the free kick. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Rosendo Cutberto hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 107 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falco Boerma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 108th minute, Eustaquio Jaizki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 114th minute, when Ted van der Schaaf sent off a good shot on target. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 3-3. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Eustaquio Jaizki to make the kick off. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Kimman in the 118th minute of play. Rene Luzea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 119th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cobus Hemmen having to make a save. Anacleto Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 121st minute. Cobus Hemmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cobus Hemmen was relentless in the 122nd minute of the game. Eustaquio Jaizki struck a weak shot in the 124th minute. Cobus Hemmen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Club Atlético Atlanta:s Carlos Germano showed great skill when he stopped Jan Sterenberg:s penalty. In the 137th minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta. Eustaquio Jaizki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cobus Hemmen. 3-5. The referee gave Lemel SV a penalty, 138 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ted van der Schaaf, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano. 4-5. Carlos Germano had in the 140thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Guter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 142nd minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta. Salvador Honesto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cobus Hemmen. 5-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético Atlanta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
