After 11 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Kim Wester. 15 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Bredberg came free, but Ulysses Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Bredberg in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulysses Reyes saved San Antonio HotSPURS from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Ulysses Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giga Mønster. 25 minutes into the game, Alfonso Crow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Antonio HotSPURS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strömsbro IF the free kick. In the 25th match minute, San Antonio HotSPURS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Crow to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Michael Bredberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulysses Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giga Mønster's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulysses Reyes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ulysses Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giga Mønster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulysses Reyes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giga Mønster in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute of the game Alvar Mellbad made a throw-in which Jerry Aronsson played forward. 47 minutes into the game, one of Strömsbro IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for San Antonio HotSPURS. Charles Hamby stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ivar Albohm. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ulysses Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Berry Negron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Antonio HotSPURS and the Strömsbro IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 95th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Ulysses Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jasper Tidwell struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ivar Albohm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Antonio HotSPURS.

San Antonio HotSPURS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
