Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Sundberg to make the kick off. Juan Nueva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 69th minute. Nicolaas Anelka might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Nueva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolaas Anelka ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Pihl United booed when Alas de Júpiter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Nueva acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luc Fontaine. Tommy Sundberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Juan Nueva 79 minutes into the match. Gottfrid Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bazán-Vera in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Tommy Sundberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Nueva, 0-3. A collision led to Alas de Júpiter getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Noé Torres hit a great ball.
