The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when Holmkjar Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonni Dong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Charlie Bravo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egil Sølve was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Egil Sølve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonni Dong in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bret Caudill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. S.D. Bajen's 董岚城 got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 minutes S.D. Bajen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tonni Dong who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tonni Dong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bret Caudill quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Oluf Ankerbøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner ended in Brent Cowan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Egil Sølve did a great save. In the 26thth minute of the game Tonni Dong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Tonni Dong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Caudill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.D. Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tonni Dong was slow to take the kick. During this time Holmkjar Hotspurs's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tonni Dong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bret Caudill quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 32 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Oluf Ankerbøl. Bret Caudill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oluf Ankerbøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Bravo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bret Caudill made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Vagner Vennitze sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Holmkjar Hotspurs getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Edvard Lillebroe hit a great ball. S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonni Dong in the 54th minute of play. Samuel Berghagen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Oluf Ankerbøl kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Tonni Dong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Caudill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Baez to maneuver through the defense. Vagner Vennitzes short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Bret Caudill to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Timmi Bantz was substituted for Holger Korst. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Kalle Bjarkmann replaced Oluf Ankerbøl. Edvard Lillebroe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. S.D. Bajen's Abraham Boyer was substituted for Adrian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Pablo Heitmann got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bret Caudill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vagner Vennitze in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Kalle Bjarkmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Bret Caudill however easily saved by the left post. S.D. Bajen made a substitution. Darius Seals replaced Jorge Baez. Egil Sølve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darius Seals, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Anton Trimble hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Damian Callahan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the Holmkjar Hotspurs players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Holmkjar Hotspurs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
